Many employers are considering a hybrid workplace model. And it’s expected the workplace itself will evolve, with a greater emphasis on collaboration. Importantly, these expectations encompass changes in the physical space workers occupy—both at home and in the office.
Communicators have to develop and distribute messaging around new in-office safety protocols, vaccination, hybrid policies, and who gets flexibility—and why. There are, seemingly, two prevailing attitudes. On the one hand, the C-suite generally wants employees back in the workplace. On the other, employees generally want to retain flexibility.
